The Walking Dead Season 6: Episode 10 Is "Like Lethal Weapon"

The Walking Dead will follow up its insane midseason premiere with an episode reminiscent of Lethal Weapon.

last night, the ninth episode of The Walking Dead’s sixth season, “No Way Out,” was a tour-de-force of brutality rife with heartbreaking casualties and moral crises that eventually left Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs) with an attribute akin to the late Governor. However, franchise creator and TV series executive producer Robert Kirkman has hinted that the next episode will somewhat cleanse the crimson palette.

Speaking with EW, the ever-cheeky Kirkman discussed the devastation left in the wake of last night’s epic episode, which claimed the lives of Rick’s would-be-romance, Jessie Anderson, and her sons, Sam and Ron, effectively obliterating an entire family. Of course, Rick's immediate family didn’t exactly leave said incident unscathed, with a stray bullet from a sword-stabbed Ron blowing through Carl's right eye. However, Kirkman hints at a temporary reprieve from the dark struggle.
